Many of my gains are from methods similar to what "Mad Inkles" has been advocating: finding sure bets or near sure bets in the few days before a market ends, and loading up.

Made a ton of money on "The OC" market even though I never watch the show, because news reports circulated the day before the last show of the season revealed which character was going to be killed off. I bought "Marissa Cooper" and shorted everyone else which every free inkling I had. In fact, I liquidated other holdings in order to get deeper into "The OC" market.

In fact, the market stayed open after the final show, so I bought and sold some more on a sure thing.

To bad real money investing isn't so easy.
